One of The most important points of this festival is, "Wim Wenders" A German fim director and "Der Himmel über Berlin (Wings of desire)”filmmaker, are in the jury of this prestigious film festival.

«سفری به جنگ با یک بازیگر» برنده جایزه اول جشنواره فیلم «فیلماکا» آمریکا شد.

فیلم مستند «سفری به جنگ با یک بازیگر» به کارگردانی سهیل سلیمی و تهیه‌کنندگی سیدمازیار هاشمی برنده جایزه اول جشنواره «فیلماکا» آمریکا شد.

از نکات مهم این جشنواره می‌توان به حضور «ویم وندرس» کارگردان شهیر آلمانی و سازنده فیلم «بر فراز آسمان برلین» در هیئت داوران این دوره جشنواره معتبر فیلماکا اشاره کرد.
