I make films because I believe some truths can only be told through images. For me, documentary filmmaking is not about recording reality; it is about searching for the human being within it. Every film is a journey into the lives of people whose voices may have been overlooked, yet whose worlds are filled with stories. The camera is not merely a tool to me; it is a way of drawing closer, of understanding, and of empathizing. As a director, I am drawn above all to the moments that emerge between silence and a gaze—the moments when truth reveals itself without mediation. I am interested in stories that rise from the heart of life itself; stories that preserve human wounds, hope, failure, resilience, and dignity within the frame. For many years, documentary has been more than a cinematic genre for me; it has been a way of living. Every film is an attempt to cross a wall—the wall of judgment, forgetting, distance, or fear. I believe the role of a director is not simply to create images, but to create the possibility of seeing. If any of my films endure, I hope audiences remember not only the story, but also the feeling they carried with them in the darkness of the theater or in the silence after the film had ended. Because cinema, when it is honest, has the power to change something within us—quietly, gently, and permanently. Alongside filmmaking, I have long been engaged in research in the fields of cybernetics, strategic media, and artificial intelligence. For me, this research is a natural extension of cinema: an exploration of the relationship between human beings, technology, and the power of storytelling, and a search for a deeper understanding of how media shapes perception, memory, and the future.
